Propagation in progress
Global servers are reporting different results. This usually means DNS changes are still propagating worldwide.
What is DNS Propagation?
When you update your domain’s nameservers or modify DNS records (like pointing your website to a new hosting provider), the changes do not take effect instantly across the entire internet. The process of updating these records across global caching servers is known as DNS Propagation.
Why does it take so long?
Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and global nodes cache DNS records locally to speed up web browsing. They only check for updates after the record’s Time to Live (TTL) expires. Standard propagation can take anywhere from a few minutes up to 48 hours to complete globally.
